Our spring AC service call by Northside this week was the first time we have done business with them, and it exceeded all expectations. Although it was a routine maintenance visit, not an emergency, we were able to schedule the visit for the next day. The technician, Chris, called to let us know he was on his way and what his ETA would be: a few minutes ahead of schedule in this case. Chris was very professional and listened patiently to my comments about our AC systems and answered my questions. I explained to him that the company who had been doing our maintenance, the company that also had originally installed both AC systems, had been keeping the full court press on us to completely replace both systems, as they were leaking Freon from the evaporator coils and were on their last legs. They had been charging us for adding Freon for the last couple of years. At the conclusion of his visit, I asked Chris how much Freon he had to add and whether there was any more life left in our systems. He told me that neither system needed any Freon and both systems were in excellent working condition. I think this kind of integrity is all too rare. It will keep us coming back to Northside for our future AC and heating needs.- Bob
